Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 6, 2026 · Last Updated: February 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Adware collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit adware.live (the "Site"), interact with us as a prospect/customer/vendor/partner, and/or use AdTrack or receive Agency Services (collectively, the "Services").

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

Adware is a marketing agency providing paid media services and operating AdTrack, an advertising attribution and tracking platform.

2. Controller vs. Processor (Role Clarity)

Because we operate both a marketing agency and a tracking platform, our role changes depending on the context.

2.1 Adware as Controller

We act as a controller for personal information we collect for our own business operations, such as Site analytics, security logs, sales inquiries, marketing communications, billing, and account administration.

2.2 Adware as Processor / Service Provider (AdTrack End-User Data)

When you deploy AdTrack on Your Sites, Adware generally processes End-User Data on your behalf. In that case, you are typically the controller (or "business") and you determine what is collected, the lawful basis, and what notices/consents are provided to your visitors.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information in the categories below, depending on how you interact with us:

  • Information you provide directly — name, email, phone, company, job title; account profile information; communications; marketing preferences.
  • Billing and transaction information — typically processed by a payment processor; we may receive limited billing metadata.
  • Information collected automatically — IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, language, pages viewed, clickstream, diagnostics, and log data.
  • AdTrack data processed on behalf of Customers — event data such as page views, lead submissions, purchases; conversion metadata; campaign parameters; technical identifiers such as cookie IDs and user agent, as configured by the Customer.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and operate the Services, administer accounts, perform Agency Services, deliver reporting, provide support and onboarding, improve and develop the Services, secure our systems, prevent fraud/abuse, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements.

We may send transactional communications (e.g., service notices, security alerts, billing). We may send marketing communications where permitted; you can opt out at any time (see Section 10).

5. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

We (and our service providers) may use cookies and similar technologies on the Site and in certain Service contexts to keep you logged in, remember preferences, measure Site performance, understand engagement, and support analytics and marketing.

You can manage cookies through browser settings and, where implemented, cookie preference tools/banners. Some features may not function if cookies are blocked.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers/vendors — hosting, analytics, support tooling, billing/payment processing, email delivery, and security monitoring. These providers are contractually required to protect information and use it only to provide services to Adware.
  • Customers (AdTrack reporting) — where AdTrack processes End-User Data, we make that data available to the Customer who implemented AdTrack and their authorized users.
  • Legal and safety — to comply with law and lawful requests, protect rights/safety/security, and investigate or prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain records, and support security.

Retention periods vary based on data type and context. Where feasible, we de-identify or aggregate information for analytics.

8. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect information. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You should use strong passwords and keep credentials confidential.

9. International Transfers

If information is transferred to or processed in a country other than where you live, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate protections are in place, such as contractual safeguards.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Your rights depend on where you live and how you interact with us.

  • Marketing opt-out — opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting privacy@adware.live. Transactional messages may still be sent.
  • Cookie controls — manage cookies via browser settings and cookie preference tools (where available).
  • U.S. state privacy rights — in certain states you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of targeted advertising, sale/sharing, and certain profiling (where applicable). Submit requests to privacy@adware.live with subject line "Privacy Rights Request"; we may need to verify your identity.
  • EEA/UK/Switzerland — where Adware is the controller, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent (where applicable), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site and Services may contain links to third-party websites or tools. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third parties. Review their policies independently.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last Updated" date.
